    Sandra ,
Mother shared about your mother’s victorious entry into the presence of Jesus, then shared the obituary during a Thanksgiving visit. My mom is 92. I will always remember us in middle and high school. Always gentle in smile and demeanor, she made me feel welcome into your home and about in public. I am sorry for your loss. Our mothers seem to be a part of a generation that should last on earth forever, but since that is not possible, I am grateful to know that we can spend the next life with one another in the presence of our Redeemer. I will remember you and your family as you adjust to a different normal and pray just the right people will remind you of how precious Eloise was. By the way,her photo was just perfect. I’m glad you and she crossed my path.

I am so so sorry to hear about Eloise’s joining her husband and friends praising God in our heavenly home. I just heard about her home going today. I knew her through Christian Women’s Club. I always looked forward to seeing her on our meeting day. Her beautiful smile and hug made you feel so welcome. You could see Jesus in her smiling eyes. There was something missing if she wasn’t there. I know there is comfort knowing you will see her again, but there is still the missing her now. May God give you peace and comfort now until you join her in our heavenly home. She was such a blessing to me. You were very blessed to have her as, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Eloise will be missed by my husband and myself. We worked together at the VA; she was the person who asked me to join ABWA which had a huge impact on my life, and she was our neighbor when we lived in Bermuda Run. She was a mentor and an example to me in so many ways. She was dearly loved by all who knew her and will be missed.

Eloise, always with a sweet smile on her face. Soft spoken and such a joy! She will be missed. Eloise loved attending Women’s events at Calvary. It was a pleasure to know her. Such a genteel woman. We are so sorry for your loss. We will be praying for her family.

Eloise was a very sweet and caring lady. We were greeters at Calvary and my husband would always go across the street to walk her over to the church on Sundays. She was a joy to talk to and always ask us about our family’s. She called us several times after leaving Calvary to inquire how we were. A very thoughtful thing to do. She was a special and pretty lady. So sorry for your loss. She’s with JESUS now and I know that’s a lot to be thankful for.
    Love in Christ,

Eloise called my mom every week to check in on her and they were able to tell each other that they loved each other on their last phone call. I met her at Calvary Baptist many years ago and just loved her to pieces. She was one of the sweetest and kindest people you will every meet. Please know that my heart and my mom’s heart has broken since we heard of her passing. We will see her again when we are called home. Prayers and love to the family.
