Aubrey Lynn Thomas

Aubrey Lynn Thomas, 61, of Walnut Cove went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 18th, 2023. Aubrey was born July 25th, 1961 to the late Eulas Thomas Jr and Ailene Hess in Alamance County.  Aubrey was undoubtedly the most hard-working man you could ever meet. He was raised to work hard for what you have and that he did. He grew up working on his family's dairy farm and then had a successful career in commercial HVAC for 43 years. He was of the Baptist faith and there was not a day when he didn't stop to say a prayer for his family.  He enjoyed making his house a home, gardening, and camping on the weekends. He took pride in everything he worked on and would not stop until it was perfect. Surviving are his loving wife of four years, Glenda (Luanne) Jessup Thomas; three children Steve Thomas, Darrel Thomas, and Hailey Thomas; Two step daughters, Megan Greene (Jackson) and Morgan Smith (Jonathan); Brother Vance Thomas (Diane); and grandchildren Zoey Thomas and Carter Thomas. Step grandchildren Ally Black, Bristol Smith,Vera Greene,and Caden Smith. The family will be having a private service at their home.
