Clifton Earl Oakley

Clifton Earl Oakley "CEO", 68, of Winston-Salem, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017. He was born November 15, 1948 to William Lawrence and Willie Middleton Oakley. Cliff was self motivated and was an entrepreneur. He owned Akron Market and TBA Warehouse for many years. Cliff loved the outdoors, especially working in his garden, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He served in the army for several years. What Cliff loved most, though, were his sons and his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, "CEO". He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son Matt Oakley. He is survived by a son Will Oakley; three grandchildren, Adleigh Oakley, Alikay Oakley, and Wyatt Oakley; and one brother Johnny Oakley. A memorial service will be held 6:30 pm Friday, July 21, 2017 at Salem Chapel, 7745 Salem Chapel Road, Walnut Cove, NC 27052. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
