Craig Christian Harris

Craig Christian Harris, 49, of Winston-Salem, passed away peacefully after a long illness on December 10, 2017 surrounded by loved ones. Craig was born in Forsyth County on September 18, 1968 to Linda Calhoun and the late William Gray Harris. Craig was a loving husband and father. He and Leann were married for 15 years, and Kayla was her daddy's "lollipop." As a graduate of Wake Forest University, Craig was a Demon Deacons fan, and also cheered for the St. Louis Cardinals. He cherished time spent at Ocean Isle Beach, playing golf, fishing and watching college sports. Big Brothers Big Sisters held a special place in his heart, as did his faithful dog, Sandy. He was a loyal employee of Aon Consulting for more than 20 years. He is survived by his wife Leann; daughter Kayla; and mother Linda. He is also survived by sisters Lisa Harris and Amy Nail (Gary); nephews Patrick and Drew; and niece Liz, of King. A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church (300 N. Cherry Street, Winston-Salem) on December 16, 2017 at 1 p.m. in the Worship Center. The family will receive guests following the service.
