Cynthia Marie (Marano) Marra

Cynthia Marra, age 75, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at Memory Care of the Triad assisted living facility in Kernersville, NC. She was born November 9,1947, in Brooklyn, NY to Frank and Teresa Marano. She was a 1965 graduate of Prospect Heights High School. She married Vincent J. Marra on May 30,1971, in Brooklyn NY before moving to NJ where she lived for 30 years. While living in NJ, Cynthia was an active member of her church, serving as a eucharistic minister and teaching Sunday school weekly. She worked as a data entry clerk for the majority of her career with several major companies. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother who truly loved life and everyone in it. She loved music and dancing. Cynthia was always caring for others and dedicating her time and service to making people laugh and smile. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Teresa Marano and brothers Frank and Salvatore Marano. She is survived by her husband, Vincent; her daughter Serena (Darin) Duncan; her 2 grandsons Kyle and Corey Strain, 2 sisters, Angie (Joesph) Orsino; and Josephine Biasetti and multiple nieces and nephews.
