Daniel Robert Byrd

Daniel Robert Byrd, 29, was taken away from us, at 10 pm, December 10, 2019 at his home on Trent Street. Daniel was a graduate of West Stokes High School. He was known for his incredibly huge heart, and a smile that could brighten up anyone's day. Since he was a child Daniel always put others before himself. He had a peace about him that made you feel like everything was going to be okay. That will be missed. He will be missed. He was preceded in death by his papaw, Robert Shumate, and his mawmaw, Joanne Trent Shumate, who he missed everyday. He is Survived by his Mother, Amy Shumate; father Billy Byrd Jr; his grandfather Jeff Moser, and grandmother Sue Moser; step mother Christina Overby; sister Hannah Byrd; his aunt Angie Shumate; Nieces Makenzie Hinsdale and Caroline Hinsdale; His aunt Janie Byrd; cousins Johnathan and Josh Porter; and his two closest friends, Kayla Mae, and Adam Luck.
