David Michael Dyson

David Michael Dyson, 68, of Tobaccoville, NC, passed away Thursday February 14, 2019. He was born on September 16, 1950, in Wilson, North Carolina to Culberth and Bernice Carroll Dyson. David had a love of cars and made a life long profession being in the auto body repair business. David was preceded in death by his parents; a sister Edna Pennell; and three brothers Alan Dyson, Junior Dyson, and Kenneth Dyson. He is survived by his life long friend and partner Cathy Boyd; a son Jason Dyson; and two daughters Melissa Dyson, and Debbie Brown; two brothers Jerry Dyson, Stephen Dyson, and sister Linda Brown; several grandchildren; and Cathy's three children Allen Boyd, Kim Hopson, and Lori Madel. A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Twin City Cremations and Funeral Home, 122 North Spruce Street with Rev. Gary Byrum officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 PM till 1:45 PM.
