Deanna Sims Hawkins

Deanna (Dee) Sims Hawkins, 53, of High Point, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017. She was born on August 26, 1963 in Alexandria, Virginia to Raymond and Edna Sims. Deanna loved her family and spending time laughing and having a good time with them and her friends. She also enjoyed her coloring books, reading, and studying her Bible. Deanna was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by the love of her life and father of her children, Phillip Collett. She is also survived by her daughter Jessica and son-in-law Matt Silveri of Midway, NC, her son Dustin Collett of Lexington, NC, her grandchildren Tanner and Alexis Silveri, a great nephew, Jamie Honeycutt, who had a special relationship with his "Aunt Dee", two sisters and their spouses, Rebecca and Earl Lambert of King, NC, Joyce and Eddie Darr of Jamestown NC, a brother and his spouse Raymond and Nikki Sims of Greensboro, NC, mother-in-law and father-in-law James and Leona Collett, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Her family will celebrate her life at 12:00 pm, Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Triad Community Baptist Church at 2525 Eastchester Drive, High Point, NC 27265.
