Dylan Wayne Hayes

Dylan Wayne Hayes, age 26, of Lexington died on April 19, 2020. He was born in Guilford County, NC on April 21, 1993 to David and Betty Hayes. Dylan graduated from South Davidson High School in 2011. The biggest love he had was spending time with his son. He also enjoyed basketball and spending time with friends. He will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ronnie Hayes. Dylan is survived by his son, Alaric Grant Hayes, of Denton, NC; parents, David and Betty Hayes of Lexington, NC; sister Destiny Hayes Stepp and husband Chris of Denton, NC; paternal grandmother Annette Hayes of Lexington, NC; maternal grandmother Sylvia Owens of Longs, SC; maternal grandfather William Bullins of Thomasville, NC; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A celebration of life service will be held at 150 Joy Court, Lexington, NC 27292, May 9, 2020 from 3:00 pm – until. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Dylan’s name to Tristan’s Haven at 365 Shell Road, Thomasville, NC 27360.
