Elisabeth Safrit Ibraham our sweet daughter, 50, of Pfafftown died peacefully at Forsyth Medical Center early Thursday morning February 13, 2020. She was born in Winston-Salem, December 15, 1969 to Sam C. and Anne Wylie Safrit. Beth will be remembered by people that knew her as a very caring, selfless person. She put other’s needs before her own even while suffering much physical and mental pain. As a final and lasting example of her care for others, Beth saved at least three lives and helped countless people by donating multiple organs through Carolina Donor Services. She graduated from Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School and obtained an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Forsyth Technical Community College, graduating with honors. She worked at Sara Lee Corporation in data management until she became disabled. She is survived by a daughter Ashley VanSutphen; a son Jacob Ibraham, of the home; her parents; two brothers, Bryan (Ellen) Safrit of Raleigh, NC, and Will (Jennifer) Safrit of Winston-Salem, NC; nephews Paul and Stephen Safrit of Raleigh, NC; Aunts Rebecca (David) Harris of Atlanta, GA, and Gina Safrit Roseman of China Grove, NC; and numerous cousins. A Service of Remembrance will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, February, 22, 2020 at Pfafftown Christian Church, 3323 Transou Road, Pfafftown, NC 27040. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Beth’s honor to Newborns in Need www.newbornsinneed.org, Phoenix Rising www.phoenixrisingwinstonsalem.org or a charity of the donor’s choice.
