Lilly Marie (Welch) Church

Lilly Marie (Collie) Church, 71, went to be with her Lord on Monday, January 30, 2023 at her home in Welch, WV. Her loving and nurturing husband, Michael S. Church, was by her side and never left her side during  her illness. She was born on December 27,1951 to Edmond and Vergie Welch in Charles County, Maryland. Marie lived and worked in Winston-Salem and surrounding areas for many years, and was a member of St. Matthew Apostolic Temple Church of Jesus Christ in Winston-Salem, NC. Marie was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Michael S. Church, of Welch, West Virginia, her son, Stevan E. Garner (Julia) of Wallburg, NC; Grandson, Steven Lee Garner, of Lexington, NC, and her two great grandchildren; Also, a special daughter rIzbet Romero Perez, of Winston-Salem, NC, whom she dearly loved. A Celebration of Life Service will take place at St. Matthews Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ, 3640 New Walkertown Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27105 on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 1:00 pm.
