Mary Zurick Henderson

Mary Zurick Henderson, 67, of Roanoke, VA, passed away Thursday May 4, 2017. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA October 30, 1949, to John Andrew and Anna O'Brien Zurick. Mary was a great loving wife and mother. She loved children and children loved her. She also had several unofficial adopted children. Mary had a big heart, and she will be surely missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, William Zurick and a sister, Carol Orlando. Mary is survived by her husband of 42 years, Michael Henderson; 2 daughters, Natalie Henderson, and Nicole Rivera; a son Michael Henderson, Jr; 10 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Robert Zurick, and Joseph Zurick; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, May, 13, 2017 at the Church of Later Day Saints, 5836 Cotton Hill Road, Roanoke, VA 24018.
