Mary Juanita Mcknight

Mary Juanita McKnight, 51, of Winston Salem, North Carolina passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018. Mary was born in Passaic, New Jersey and was raised in East Orange, New Jersey, on March 18, 1967, to Leonora Sisco and James Lee McKnight. Mary attended school in East Orange and graduated from East Orange High School in East Orange, New Jersey. Mary will forever be remembered and is survived by her parents Leonora Sisco (North Carolina) and James Lee McKnight (New Jersey); Siblings; James Anthony McKnight and wife Jai McKnight (Florida) and Pamela Lockett (North Carolina); two children Jamal Chauncey McKnight (New Jersey); Khalif Hill (New Jersey); one grandchild (New Jersey). Mary also leaves to mourn are nieces; Ajenay Drummond and husband Demar Drummond (North Carolina), Monique Ruiz (Florida), Lala William (New Jersey), Lenora Ashly (New Jersey), nephews; Johnny Ruiz and wife Candace Ruiz (North Carolina), Keith Williams and wife Tiketa Williams (North Carolina), Terrence Johnson (Virginia), Javon McKnight (Maryland) and Jordan Hainsworth (Florida). Mary also leaves to mourn; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and other relatives and friends. Mary's favorite hobby was roller skating at "Twin City". She also had a love for "House" music and always helped others get fit by frequently providing workout and healthy eating programs for anyone who asked. She will be deeply missed by friends, family and all who knew her. Memorial Service is scheduled for 11 :00 a.m. on June 30, 2018 at the Peaceful Zion Baptist Church located at 213 Rhode Island Avenue, East Orange, NJ 07018.
