Peggy Lynn (VanHoy) Brown

Mrs. Peggy Lynn Brown (VanHoy) 53, of Hamptonville NC, passed away September 25th, 2024 at the SECU Hospice House in Yadkinville NC. Mrs. Brown was born December 30th, 1970 In Yadkin County to David and Peggy VanHoy. Mrs. Brown worked as a CNA for about 20 years until she was diagnosed with cancer. In addition to her mother, Peggy VanHoy, she was preceded in death by her Husband Perry Brown; her Uncle Jimmy Macemore and her two Brothers in Law Rex and Doug Brown. She is survived by her two Sons Joel (Beth) Jones and Andrew (Kathryn) Jones; Her Father David (Gail) VanHoy; a Sister Crystal VanHoy, a Half-Brother Jonathan (Bailey) VanHoy; a Half-Sister DJ VanHoy. She is also survived by Grandchildren Journey, David, Harrison, Oliver, Beverly, Ruby and Remington; a bonus Daughter Cassie (Scott) Nicholson and Bonus Grandchildren Makayla, Tristin, Carson, Mallori and Lori. Sisters in Law Joyce Anderson, Helen (Donnie) Kartes and Barbara Huff. She had many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.

The family would like to thank everyone at Mountain Valley Hospice and Baptist Hospital for her care during this time. 

A visitation will be held Sunday October 6, 2024 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm with a Memorial Service following at Swaims Baptist Church , 3919 Swaims Church Road, Hamptonville, NC 27020 with Rev Gordon Macemore officiating.
