Peggy Jane Sisk, 69, of Winston-Salem passed away peacefully Monday, May 6, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on July 6, 1949 in Winston-Salem to James Maynard and Helen Reid Collins. She was a retired medical secretary having worked many years at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital and eventually retiring from Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center. A faithful churchgoer, Peggy was an active member of First United Church of Christ in Winston-Salem, NC. Peggy always put others first and especially adored all of her family and friends. For Peggy, the word vacation was synonymous with Myrtle Beach, SC, and she particularly cherished her many memories of trips with her family- especially her grandchildren Parker, Abby and Noah. In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her children David Eugene Sisk and Jennifer Irene Sisk. Peggy is survived by her husband of 48 years, Tommy G. Sisk; three children, Kelly C. Creasy (Patrick), Andrew L. Sisk, and Stephanie Sisk Staub; three grandchildren, Parker R. Creasy, Abigail B. Creasy and Noah C. Staub; and two sisters, Sherry L. Beamon (Albert) and Jewel M. Lambert (Mark). A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, May 18, 2019 at First United Church of Christ, 1912 Waughtown Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27107 with Rev David Crook officiating. The family will greet friends in the Fellowship Hall following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First United Church of Christ.
