Ruby Shoffner Longcrier

Ruby Shoffner Longcrier, 87, of Winston-Salem passed away to be with her Lord on Tuesday, August 20, 2019. She was born October, 6, 1931 to Daniel Moody Shoffner and Blanche Iseley Shoffner. Ruby graduated from E. M. Holt High School and Alamance Technical School. She retired from AT&T, Guilford Center in 1990. Her residence was in Greensboro, NC for many years. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Mabel S. Newton; five brothers, Colon Shoffner, Phalti Shoffner, Hervey Shoffner, Rev. Bill Shoffner, and Winfred Shoffner. She is survived by a sister, Donnie S. Johnson of Burlington, NC; and a brother, Dover Shoffner (Clemetine) of Snow Camp, NC; also many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Silas Creek Health and Rehab, in Winston-Salem, NC, and Trellis Supportive Care in Winston-Salem, NC for the very wonderful care during her illness. The family will have a private burial at a later date.
