Mr. Steven "Steve" Richard Bradle, Sr., 67, of Kernersville, NC passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, February 27, 2018, at Hospice of Davidson County, surrounded by his loving family. Steve Sr. was born December 28, 1950 in Ilion, NY son of the late Richard "Dick" and Marie Drennen Bradle and educated in Ilion schools. Right after graduation, he joined the Air Force where he proudly served his country and was honorably discharged after 8 years. After his military service, he moved to California where he would meet his bride. They would eventually move and take residence in Tallahassee, FL. On July 20, 1986, he was united in marriage to Mary Christina "Tina" Parker in Wakulla Springs, FL. They have shared a blessed and devoted union of 31 years. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather and will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He was a problem solver that loved working on cars, working around the house and sipping on a cold beer. While he played guitar in some garage bands growing up, he still loved playing guitar and listening to his favorite classic rock bands like The Who, The Rolling Stones, ZZ Top, Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton. He also loved watching college football on Saturdays while sitting in his favorite chair and wearing his favorite house slippers. Survivors include his wife Tina and his children, Steven Jr. and his wife, Lisa of Monroe, North Carolina, Christopher and his wife, Melanie of Charlotte, North Carolina, step-daughter Shay Bowls of New Orleans, Louisiana, Will Bradle of Greenfield, California and Stephanie Bradle of Kernersville, North Carolina; his siblings Sister Donna Marie Bradle, CSJ of Latham, New York Lorraine Chapman of Manlius, New York, Thomas "Tom" Bradle and his wife, Joyce of Frankfort, New York, Richard "Rick" Bradle of Ilion, New York, Annette Dunn of Herkimer, New York; his grandchildren, Michael, Joshua, Keely and Braxton; his aunt Lucille Drennen of South Carolina; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends are invited to visitation and remembrance Sunday, March 11, 2018, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Twin City Cremations, 122 North Spruce Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27101. Spring interment will take place spring/early summer in Calvary Cemetery, Herkimer. Those wishing to do so may consider memorial contributions in Mr. Bradle's memory to the Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292 or to the Development office of Sisters of St. Joseph, 385 Watervliet Shaker Rd., Latham, NY 12110.
