Victoria Jane Armstrong

Victoria Jane Armstrong, 71, of Butner, NC, passed away Friday July 14, 2017. She was born on September 2, 1945 in Grosse Pointe Woods, MI to Francis Liston and Marie Klee Armstrong, Jr. A long time resident of Murdoch Developmental Center in Butner, NC, she enjoyed attending chapel and spending time with her friends. She also loved receiving and giving hugs and kisses. Her family, caretakers and friends will dearly miss her. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Gail Root. Victoria is survived by her brother, Francis Liston Armstrong III and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 2:30 pm in the chapel at Murdoch Developmental Center which is located at 1600 East C Street, Butner, NC 27509. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Murdoch Developmental Center.
