Vida Joyce/Weatherman Née Taylor

Vida Joyce/Weatherman, née Taylor, 89, of Lewisville, a loving mother and sister, died Thursday, December 26, 2019 in Clemmons, NC. Born in Wilkes County NC on September 11, 1930. She was preceded in death by her parents Claude and Jessie Taylor; a husband Alvin Joyce; and a daughter Patricia Joyce. She is survived by her sons Ron (Elena) and Clyde; daughters Billie (Robert), Bobbie, and Amber (Nick); along with numerous grand-children and great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; sisters Gladys (Dexter) and Ann; and brother Claude Junior (Fran). A heartfelt thank you to the staff of Clemmons Village II for their loving care and kindness. Arrangements for a private memorial service are being made. The family prefers memorials be made in her name to Mountain Valley Hospice & Palliative Care, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mount Airy, NC 27030.
